Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant with Legal Experience will be responsible for managing and overseeing our financial operations while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as a solid understanding of legal frameworks impacting financial processes.

Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.

Compliance: Ensure all financial practices adhere to legal requirements and industry standards.

Auditing: Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.

Taxation: Manage tax planning and compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Legal Collaboration: Liaise with legal team to interpret and apply legal guidelines in financial practices and documentation.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Policy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy formulation.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a legal or compliance-focused role.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
